VARK Subscription for Individuals

By subscribing to VARK, you will be able to collect and view the VARK results for your group, team or class. Subscribing to VARK makes collecting your results very easy as there is no software to install - you just subscribe, and then direct your clients (students) to a website address that we provide. And you can access their results as soon as they have filled in the questionnaire online.

When you subscribe as an individual , you can use the subscription for up to four groups, or teams or classes at one time.

Subscription Features

Your subscription will give your clients access to the VARK questionnaire and helpsheets. It will also give you access to a staff menu, from which you can view the VARK results .

When viewing the results for your group, you will see charts summarising the results, as well as a detailed table of the options chosen by each person for each question, and listing each person's final result. You can download the results to analyse further in Excel (or similar) if you wish.

You can use your subscription with up to four groups at one time. Your subscription will be valid for six months from the date it is set up, and can be renewed every six months.

The subscription is set up to include one of the following questionnaires:

  • The standard 16-question VARK questionnaire
  • The 16-question VARK questionnaire for younger people (ideal for use in schools)
  • The older 13-question VARK questionnaire (for those who have already collected VARK results and want to be able to compare new results with historical results).

If you purchase a subscription and would like the 13-question version or the version for younger people, send us an email (flemingn@ihug.co.nz) to let us know; otherwise we will set up your subscription using the standard questionnaire.

The screenshots below show the VARK questionnaire page, the manager's menu page, and one of the charts, and the downloadable table of results from the results page.

Demonstration

A fully-featured online demonstration is available.
Please note that data will be periodically cleared from the demonstration site without warning. In addition, any data that you enter will be available to, and could be deleted by, other users of the demonstration site. So while we encourage you to try out all the features of the demonstration site, you should not use it with a real class.

When you subscribe to VARK, you will be given two web addresses: one for your clients to use when filling in the questionnaire, and the other for you to use when viewing their results. When using the demonstration, you will need to log in as manager, and as a client, in order to get an idea about how the subscription looks to each.

To use the demonstration site:

  1. Log in as a manager to get to the manager's menu.
In the demonstration version, the login details are automatically entered for you.
  2. Add a subject/group code - so that people from that group(class) can have their results collected.
Note that if there are currently four group codes already entered in the demonstration site, you might have to delete an existing one before you can add a new one.
  3. Log in as a client and fill in the questionnaire, choosing the code you specified above.
You might want to fill in the questionnaire several times, pretending to be a different person each time.
  4. Log in as a teacher/manager and go to the manager's menu again.
  5. View the results for your group.
